When we were kids, we used to hear many stories about why we celebrate Diwali. Interestingly, there was not one story but quite a few. One of them was Rama returning to Ayodhya after killing Ravan. The end of the Ravan era. Ending matters. Even in our day-to-day lives, getting out of something that doesn't add value anymore matters.
