Management, UX, Startups, and more — freshly curated by Zeda.io.
The weekend is here!🍦
So is the time for me, Mahima; to bring the latest edition of ProductCafe to you all; where we curate some of the best content on product management. 📩
First things first, Let’s take a moment to appreciate Google’s excellent portrayal of climate change on World Earth Day🌎 2022 with a time-lapse on its home page that displays the effects of climate change over the decades around the globe in one of the most inventive doodles of all time.
A glimpse from the homepage of Google.
The time-lapse was built using a collection of photos obtained by Google Earth. The footage depicts many sections of the earth, including coral reefs, glaciers, and general greenery, all of which have declined noticeably over the decades.
This Earth Day'22 Let's once again call attention to the various ways people can be more sustainable in their lifestyle and slow down global warming.
Hot Topics of the week🧨
Did you read about what’s happening on Twitter these days?
Amazon Founder Jeff Bezos retweeted Elon Musk's Twitter poll on whether the social media giant should turn its headquarters into a homeless shelter.
Let’s find out moree😎
Elon Musk secures $46.5 billion in funding for the Twitter bid
Musk himself has committed to putting up $33.5 billion, which will include $21 billion of equity and $12.5 billion of margin loans, to finance the transaction.
Musk's current move comes after Twitter declined his bid and implemented a "poison pill" to impede the billionaire's attempt to purchase the social media site for $43 billion.
Musk, a self-described "free speech absolutist," has stated that the social media firm must be made private in order to expand and become a free speech platform. His bid has piqued the curiosity of private equity firms interested in engaging in a transaction for Twitter.
Netflix faces its worst year in a decade
Shares in Netflix have slumped by 35% after it revealed a sharp drop in subscribers and warned millions more are set to quit the streaming service.
Netflix confronts fierce competition from streaming rivals, but it has also suffered as a result of price increases and its exit from Russia.
"Once you move above that something has to give in a cost-of-living crisis, and while Netflix is still the market leader, it doesn't have the deeper pockets of Apple, Amazon or Disney, which makes it much more vulnerable to a margin squeeze."
It also predicted that two million additional people will leave the service in the three months leading up to July.

Mastering Product Experience (in SaaS) With Product-led Strategy
I want to talk about product experience today.
Your success as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company is completely dependent on acquiring and keeping users in your product. Delivering a tailored in-product customer experience is critical to the existence of a SaaS Business existence. This necessitates a thorough grasp of and capacity to affect user behavior within your product. In other words, to use your product to acquire, retain, and grow your user base.
